Creating A Website On Your Own
A lot goes into creating your own website. Here’s a few things to keep in mind 🌟
Tip 1: Nail down your logo before anything else. This took me sometime mainly because I’m such a perfectionist when it comes to graphic design. I couldn't make up my mind on so many decisions. Eventually, I stuck with my gut feeling, made a final decision and moved forward. I've learned not to second guess myself. Self doubt is the enemy.
Tip 2: Remember your website should represent YOU. You are your own brand and the website theme, style and color scheme is where your personality shines through. This is the FUN part! This is the time to play, explore and dig deep into your personality.
Tip 3: Perfection doesn’t happen all at once. (Yes, you heard me correctly - this tip wasn’t easy for me b/c again I’m a perfectionist when it comes to design). I remember going back into my site and tweaking the tiniest of things. I felt like it would never be perfectly complete until I realized I could always come back later and tweak it if I really wanted to. Give your site one last once-over, appreciate your hard work and move forward.

🌟I hope these tips have helped calm some of your nerves for those of you building your own site. Feel free to reach out with questions!
